Choose the grade level below. These plans are aligned to the class expectations and keep students focused on independent work.

โœ… Goal for all grades: Students choose a tool, do their own work, stay focused, and clean up their stations. Minecraft: Only allowed for Grade 4 & 5 when coding on the same serverโ€”must show the instructor their code every 20 min.

Grade 1

  • Walk in slowly, find your station, and start working.
  • Choose one option: color-tile robots, yellow Bee-Bots, blocks, or computer (Scratch/Tinkercad).
  • Do your own work and stay focused on your project.
  • Clean up your station when finished.
  • Raise your hand for help and wait patiently.
  • Minecraft is NOT allowed today.

Grade 2

  • Walk in slowly, find your station, and start working.
  • Choose one option: color-tile robots, yellow Bee-Bots, blocks, or computer (Scratch/Tinkercad).
  • Do your own work and stay focused on your project.
  • Clean up your station when finished.
  • Raise your hand for help and wait patiently.
  • Minecraft is NOT allowed today.

Grade 3

  • Walk in slowly, find your station, and get started.
  • Choose one option: color-tile robots, yellow Bee-Bots, blocks, or computer (Scratch/Tinkercad).
  • Do your own work and stay focused until class ends.
  • Clean up your station and put everything away.
  • Raise your hand for help and wait patiently.
  • Minecraft is NOT allowed today.

Grade 4

  • Walk in slowly, find your station, and begin working.
  • Choose one option: color-tile robots, yellow Bee-Bots, blocks, or computer (Scratch/Tinkercad).
  • Minecraft: Allowed only if coding, all on the same server. Must show the instructor the code you are building every 20 min.
  • Do your own work, stay focused, and complete your project.
  • Clean up your station completely and help others when asked.
  • Raise your hand for help and wait patiently.

Grade 5

  • Walk in slowly, find your station, and start working.
  • Choose one option: color-tile robots, yellow Bee-Bots, blocks, or computer (Scratch/Tinkercad).
  • Minecraft: Allowed only if coding, all on the same server. Must show the instructor the code you are building every 20 min.
  • Do your own work, stay focused, and finish your project.
  • Clean up your station, help others, and be ready to share.
  • Raise your hand for help and wait patiently.
